Services

Obstetrics:
At our office we want to participate in this special moment in your life. For the best possible care we recommend  prospective mothers to visit us before pregnancy to discuss medical, social, genetic and nutritional factors that may affect a future pregnancy.
During pregnancy we will provide or give our patients access to:

> ultrasound evaluations
> first trimester screening for Down's syndrome
> second trimester screening for Down's syndrome and neural tube defects
> diabetes screening
> many other services

When it is time to welcome your baby you will go to Baptist Medical Center: Beaches. The patient suites are designed for labor and delivery through recovery and postpartum care and features home-like amenities including rocking chairs and large windows with views of calming gardens to ensure mom and family are as comfortable as possible. And our family-centered care philosophy features flexible rooming-in and visitor policies.

Preventive Care:
We recommend annual breast and pelvic exams for all patients. In addition, we believe women should check their breasts monthly and will be glad to review the technique with you. Other screening studies including mammography, thyroid and cholesterol tests, bone densitometry, colonoscopy, pelvic ultrasound, genetic tests and CA-125 will be advised and arranged as needed.
